Slow Cooker Pulled Pork  Recipe

Pulled pork has been a favorite recipe of our family for many years. It is a very yummy dish made from shredded pork meat and blended with BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

- Pork butt - Brown sugar - Salt - Garlic powder - Onion powder - Black pepper - Cumin - Paprika - Chicken or beef broth - Apple cider vinegar - BBQ sauce

Pat the pork butt dry with a paper towel if it is needed to ensure the spices stick.

In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cumin, and paprika. Stir together.

Cover the pork butt on all sides with the spice mixture.

Place the entire pork butt into the slow cooker.  Pour the chicken broth and apple cider vinegar into the bottom of the slow cooker.

Put the lid on and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or cook on high for 4-5 hours.
