Description

These easy crock pot pork chops are a simple recipe to throw together that tastes as it took a lot longer to make than it actually did. The end result is tender, juicy, and all-around delicious pork chops topped with a creamy sauce that adds so much flavor to them. The crock pot is an essential tool to have in your kitchen that lets you spend only a few minutes!! Just whip up some rice or veggies and your meal is complete.

If you want to add some potatoes to your crockpot pork chops, then wait until halfway during the cooking process and leave them whole, and you can even leave the skin on too. If you cut them into small pieces then they will cook too quickly and fall apart before you are able to eat dinner.

The same is true if you want to add some nice fresh string beans from your garden. I would only leave them in there to cook for 30-45 minutes or so.

Always look for your pork chops to be on sale and then buy enough for 2 or 3 meals. They freeze so well either raw or cooked ahead.

Storing: To store your pork chops just place them in an airtight container and they will stay fresh in your refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Reheating: There are several ways to reheat your crock pot pork chops, it is so easy to do. The microwave will heat them up in about 2 minutes, you can heat them on a stove in a pan for about 10 minutes on medium heat, or in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes also. In all 3 cases cover them lightly to hold in the steam and to avoid splashing.

Freezing: These slow cooker pork chops will freeze very well as long as wrapped properly. I place them in an airtight container and then put the container in a Ziploc bag for double protection. They will last good for 3 months in the freezer.
