Bend the stalks and snap off the tough ends at their natural breaking point.

Rinse off your stalks and dry them thoroughly so that they do not get mushy during roasting.

Lay them out on a baking sheet, single layer.

Coat them evenly with olive oil and spices.

Roast the asparagus in the oven at 400 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. Take them out when done and serve.
