– Pork Butt – Brown Sugar – Salt
Pat the pork butt dry with a paper towel if damp to ensure the spices stick. This step is optional, so you make the call whether or not to do it.
In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cumin, and paprika. Stir it all together well.
Cover the pork butt on all sides with the spice mixture.
Place the entire pork butt into the slow cooker.
Pour the chicken broth and apple cider vinegar into the bottom of the slow cooker.
