Ingredients
- 28 chicken wings
- 1 cup Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Sauce
- 1 stick melted butter
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In a small bowl combine the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the raw wings to a large mixing bowl, and coat with your spice mixture.
- Place a cup of water in the bottom of the Instant Pot, then place the trivet on the bottom. Add the seasoned wings to the Instant Pot and seal the lid. Pressure cook for10 minutes, but keep in mind that your IP will take about 15 minutes to come to pressure.
- Turn the oven on High Broil.
- In a small bowl combine buffalo sauce and melted butter. Whisk together until well combined. Set aside until the wings are cooked.
- When the pressure cooking is complete, carefully do a quick release of the pressure. Be very careful, use a dish towel or oven mitt to vent otherwise you will get burnt. Use tongs to remove wings and place them into a large mixing bowl.
- Pour ½ of the buffalo sauce to the wings and gently toss.
- Place the wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Broil for about 2-4 minutes per side.
- Brush the wings with remaining buffalo sauce before and after flipping them over and broiling them for another 2-4 minutes.
- Take them out of the oven and serve!
Notes
0.3 NET CARBS PER WING
Easy cleanup, place parchment paper on the baking sheet
Use a wire rack to help the chicken cook more evenly and get crispier
Coat the chicken wings in baking powder to make crispier wings but only when cooking in the oven, not when using the instant pot
If not on keto or low carb diet, add honey to the buffalo sauce
