This is a simple to make French Onion Dip recipe that is packed with a lot of onion flavor along with a very creamy texture. It’s the perfect compliment to chips, crackers, fresh veggies and also makes your chicken taste scrumptious.
- 16 oz Sour Cream
- 3 Tbsp. Onion Soup Mix
- Place your sour cream in a bowl and add your dry onion mix to the sour cream and stir with a large spoon until well blended.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

For the best flavor, once your Onion Dip is mixed up, then stick it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
If you are going to carmelize your onions, instead of using the dry soup mix/seasoning mixture it takes a few extra minutes.
If your stored leftover dip in the refrigerator and it collects water on the top just drain it off and stir to reblend.
Feel free to use more spices if you want to, but don’t overdo it because as your dip sits it will become more flavorful.
