Description
Keto Chocolate Mousse is a 4-ingredient recipe that is made with such ease, your family and friends will absolutely love it! This low carb chocolate mousse is extra fluffy and whips up so quickly and will cure that chocolate craving any time of the day without any of the guilt!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup powdered swerve
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Chill a large mixing bowl in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the bowl from the freezer and add the heavy cream. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer and start whipping the cream. Whip for about 1-2 minutes or until it becomes creamy.
- Add the cocoa powder, powdered swerve, and vanilla. Whip all the ingredients together until stiff peaks form.
- Chill the mousse in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Scoop the mousse into your serving cup, or for a fancier look use a pastry bag.

Chill the mixing bowl for 15-20 minutes before whipping the cream. It will help to whip the cream much faster.
Don’t over-whip the cream before you add in the rest of the ingredients.
Be sure to use a powdered low carb sweetener, don’t use granulated.
Unsweetened cocoa powder – I used Hershey’s Unsweetened Cocoa, but use whatever brand you prefer. Just make sure it’s unsweetened, that’s key.
Mix until stiff peaks are formed. After cocoa powder, sweetener, and vanilla have been added, mix until you have reached the desired consistency.
Adjust to taste – taste the keto chocolate mousse before serving to make sure it’s to your liking. Add more sweetener if needed.
For a fancier look, use a piping/pastry bag.
For a Dairy-Free Keto Chocolate Dessert replace the heavy cream with full-fat coconut milk.
