Delicious Fried Cabbage with Bacon

– Bacon – Onion – Cabbage – Bacon Grease – Salt – Pepper

Before you wash your cabbage, pull off any old, damaged and wilted leaves. Rinse the cabbage off under cold water thoroughly.

Next, dry it as best as you can with a paper towel. It doesn’t have to be really dry, just enough so that the water is not dripping off of it.

Turn the cabbage and cut it in half lengthwise from top to bottom.

Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces on a cutting board. Cook the bacon in a large frying pan or dutch oven.
